The Sustainable City Nursery opened in 2016, offering a purpose -built facility. Licensed under the Ministry of Education, we accept children from birth – 4 years. The layout has been carefully planned to support the Norwegian curriculum that we offer.
Children have ease of access to outdoor space from their classrooms, actively support a free-flow learning environment. The nursery is located in The Sustainable City which is convenient for residents ofsurrounding communities such as Motor City, Mira, Town Square, Arabian Ranches, Layan /Waha, Mudon and Barsha South.
At Sustainable City, we offer 9 spacious classrooms, 2 large outdoor, shaded play spaces. We also enjoy full use of the community amenities, which include the biodomes, greenfield spaces, and the plaza area. In the cooler weather, the children enjoy nature walks, cooking activities in the community restaurants and playing in the greenfield area.
Our newest branch is located at Akoya, Damac Hills and was opened in the September 2019 and is a purpose- built facility. Licensed under the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) – which allows us to accept children from birth – 6 years. The setting beautifully supports the Norwegian Curriculum – with children having the option of moving freely between the indoor and outdoor environment.
As a community-based nursery, we work closely with those living and working in the Damac Hills community. The location of the Early Learning Centre, just off of Hessa Street, means that we are easily reached from Barsha, Barsha South, Remraan, Motor City, Mudon
The setting comprises of 10 spacious classrooms – including infant and toddler rooms with conveniently attached sleeping rooms. Each classroom has access to an outdoor play area, which supports free flow. We have a large open -air basement play area, which really is a focal point for our setting.
