CreaKids By Dibber is happy to introduce The Meal starting November 14th, 2022. Dibber’s Golden Moments are the daily important moments and milestones that happen within our early childhood centres. These moments lay the foundation for our pedagogy.
Healthy meals are nutritious, they help maximize the children’s learning potential and help balance blood sugar levels, energy and concentration.
Sustainable meals benefit the children and our ecosystem as a whole. We seek locally sourced and seasonal ingredients and minimal waste through a thorough sourcing and preparation process.
Cultivation is sought through shared meals that bind children and adults together. The Dibber Meal is a venue for fellowship, sensory experiences and discovery.
Educate and facilitate during meal times so each child experiences daily joyous and healthy meals that enhance their fellowship, their learning ability and life skills.
Through the Dibber Meal, parents and caretakers have the peace of mind to know their children are learning to make nutritious, sustainable, and lasting food choices!
We are excited to partner with Kalo Hospitality to curate the Dibber Meal in the UAE.
Kalo Hospitality stood out as a partner through the values we share as companies: a strive for quality and excellence, health and sustainability.
It will launch on Monday 14th November 2022 for all children aged 12 months and above. Registrations are open as of Monday 7th November 2022.
Children registered from 7:30 am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm, will be provided with a breakfast and a lunch. Children registered from 7:30 to 3:00pm and beyond, will be provided with an additional snack in the afternoon.
We are very mindful of the allergies of your children. When registering for the Dibber Meal, you will be requested to document all relevant allergies in a form which will be cross-checked with our medical records by the nurse. The form will then be shared with Kalo Hospitality with a copy of the medical report and an alternative menu will be proposed to your child. In the case where we do not have any record of allergies, we will kindly ask you to provide a recent medical report. Where a child has multiple and severe allergies, we suggest that prior to subscribing to the service, we organize a meeting between the Kalo Hospitality team and yourself to discuss the options available.

Prior to the launch, the Kalo Hospitality team is keen to share with you the menus and the food that will be served to the children. Food tasting opportunities will be offered with a morning and evening tasting sessions and invites for this event will follow soon. After the launch, tasting will be available upon request. The food will be served by the CreaKids by Dibber teams. Our teams are trained by Frode Selvaag, Head of Dibber Global Food Collaboration Team, to become Dibber Meal handlers in accordance with the Dibber Meal ethos and processes. Moreover, the meals will be prepared and served in compliance with the Dubai Municipality requirements for the service of food within Early Childhood Centres.
Payment can be made to your nursery either in cash, cheque, credit card or bank transfer. The payment will be monthly, pro-rated, in November and December 2022 and it will become termly from January 2023. Your child will be enrolled in the Dibber Meal once the registration form, allergy confirmation and payment in full are made. Please allow a 48-hours notice from the time of enrolment for the service to begin.
Enrolling in the Dibber Meal is optional and we will take the same usual care in serving your child the food sent from home. However, in this case, your child will not be able to share, learn and benefit from the Golden Moment the Dibber Meal is all about.
During camps, the Dibber Meal will be maintained but for an additional fee, outside of the regular termly service. During National Holidays of minimum 2+ consecutive working days, the Dibber Meal fees for those days will be credited back to you. In case of absence of 2+ consecutive working days, the Dibber Meal fees will also be credited back for those days strictly provided that you give us 1 week notice prior the first day of absence. Under these conditions, the fees are credited into the next billing term.
